Meet Barb, a passionate advocate for the timber industry, who has a lifelong connection as a sawmiller’s daughter. She brings nearly two decades of executive management experience in the not-for-profit sector, combining strategic thinking with practical leadership to deliver outcomes that are both impactful and financially sustainable.

Alongside her role at CWS Tasmania, Barb continues to contribute to the not-for-profit sector, bringing valuable insight from her broader executive experience.

Barb is an active contributor to industry and community conversations, having spoken at the National Forestry Symposium (2022), hosted Forestry Australia’s national webinar Tackling Life Stressors (2023), and participated as a panellist at the Tasmanian Forests & Forest Products Network Industry Forum (2022). She also serves as Chair of the National Rural Mental Health Conference.
